This triptych caught my eye because of the subject, color, and feel. Having worked and lived in NE California I've seen this landscape thousands of times. But you added nostalgia and a "lost" feeling to it with the layers. That in itself made me feel like I had lost something precious. Considering I was happy to move from the area, it means a lot to feel like I've missed it. Adding the color was the proverbial cherry on top. Just enough of a splash of color to take the dull edge off, but retain a washed and weathered look.
I would very much like to come back and purchase this print and have it mounted... It is of incredibly high quality, and most importantly, imparts (at least to me) an emotional response, which is the most important target of photography.
quand le passé ne vient pas frapper à notre porte. ce qui est le cas ici avec des images de mon grand-père comme j'ai pu en poster sur mon ancien compte, rééditées par mes soins.
